Broken Angel Poem by Lissa White

Broken Angel

Angel with the broken wing
She no longer has a song to sing
Wondering around lost and alone
No one can hear her agonizing moan
Darkness consuming her soul
Slowly taking it’s toll
Off in the distance there is a light
Beaconing her to take flight
But she is broken
Her wing damaged beyond repair
Her tears fall in despair
Stuck in the great unknown
Into the abyss she is thrown
Praying for a new song to sing
Praying for a mended wing
Desperate to be whole
To regain her soul
To take flight
Out of the darkness
And back into the light.
