Broken Angel Poem by victoria dupree

Broken Angel

I walk alone in the moonlight.
I hear the cries of a small child.
I followed the sound.
And there i saw him.
Dying on the ground.
A sweet little angel.
Stripped of his wings.
In a pool of crimson blood.
I ran to hold him in my arms.
He looked so fimilar.
Yet i did not know him.
His tears turned to blood.
And i knew he was dying.
I wish i could stop it.
Why, why did this happan.
Why was this sweet little boy stripped of his wings.
His beautiful wings.
What did he do wrong.
He looked so innecent.
why did the angels take away his wings.
I need to know who is to blame.
I need to know who is to die next.
My poor little angel.
Just be calm.
Your death will not go unnoticed.
Trust me my angel.
they will pay.
All of them.
So sleep now.
Sleep my broken angel.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Your childlike simplicity is reflected in the poem. Romantic but so sweetly divine

this is a very heavy poem for a fifteen year old. i am happy to say though that your words will touch the hearts of many who read your poetry. as for that litle angel, (that's the one that was sent to you to write this beautiful poem, so don't ever despair or give up hope of better things to come)
