Broadcast/Small Ruby Trains

small ruby trains are chugging up the hills

of the fog bound cities suddenly wrapped in rain

and I am spelling out old names again

in a fitful dream on the chalkboards of the skies

that need dusting

where are the toys of kings

in the years gone by

who will inform the kings

that time must fly

and sighs all scrambled be

like ruby ships all foundering

on the key lime seas

every day the messengers arrive

is one more day of treading

the crumbling bridge

and wondering who will cross

and vanish away

that's all the news we have for you today.
