Bridal Rib Poem by Kara Entriken

Bridal Rib

already there is less of me
in you
than of you in me

I absorb

I will absorb
(and swell and swell)
'til the day you burst
my skin

then all will spill
(and spill and spill)

run out

through our kitchen
down cracks in the lino
and nothing will be left

but flaccid skin
and cold hard bones

of me

I will absorb (and swell and swell) 'til the day you burst my skin then all will spill (and spill and spill) an other sweet poem..the reality has kept in view...in this poem and done with very professional way..means you are a good poet and your rich brain has many ideas to express, , , but stile to say why only 4 poems yet... wish if you add more in the same specialized way..appreciate your poetry..

Interesting comment on the man/woman dynamic with a lot of truth buried in these words.
