Breathing Poem by John Earing

Breathing

Rating: 5.0

The greatest heartfelt breath.
It is caught, trapped in my hopelessness.
Prying, wedging and digging into my wants.
Pressure, tightness and heaviness.
I struggle, fighting and battling.
Beginning to see.
Opening my eyes I realize.
First breath...OK
The greatest heartfelt breath...
