Breathe Poem by Annie Lake

Breathe

I am small, imperfect
weak
Love, if it was; betrays

And yet,
the woods and fields remain.

Breathe just breathe.

The wind and tide heal,
a calm within the roar

And the Father of lights
is the same,
through pain, betrayal,
loneliness;

Breathe just breathe.

And so,
I might yet,
be
strong
