Breathe Poem by Agata Konopka

Breathe

Rating: 4.5

Breathe
just breathe
every breath we take another gift
another moment for us to enjoy
another secret to be uncovered
Breathe
inhale slowly, all a mother's tenderness
in your mothers arms nothing can go wrong
for her a thousand reasons to be strong
Breathe
Sigh with relief for the test is finally over
our stress suddenly undressed
laughing at her pink underwear
Breathe
The boss didn't fire you
he only did seek to praise
the report that brought things in perspective
Breathe
This is the end of the day
and all that you have to do
is rest
