Brandenburg Jilt Poem by saadat tahir

Brandenburg Jilt

Rating: 4.8

If Brandenburg can go
And much else in a row
Under the bridges flow
The sickle in tow

Fields then plow with bayonets
Root blooming of the of rosettes
Give skeletons a lie to the closets
Grain ye pour in empty rockets

Dim the flares by northern lights
Doves be fly in cross hair sights
No fear rains from the heights
Fatigues fall away to jeans an tights

Hose down blooms tang of cordite
Some meadows given a respite
Standing crops escape the blight
Children at school have no fright
