Brainchildren (The Tall White Cake Is Full Of Packing Peanuts) Poem by Luke J. Holt

Brainchildren (The Tall White Cake Is Full Of Packing Peanuts)

Felix, Lucky and Julian would have been our first three children's names

You decided
I agreed

Zealous as a Nova to be your joyfully weeping groom
sniffing and sobbing through my vows
as I imagined you would

They will never be born
I will never sniff or sob or vow
You decided
I didn't agree
