Brain: Alien Like Us Poem by Neran Sati

Brain: Alien Like Us

Rating: 5.0

There is no greater blessing for a poet
Then squeeze out a beautiful verse
As for toothpaste splash on the fresh brush
Effortlessly, by heaven's dash, or with

Temptation, beguiled by inspiration.
Like the fisherman, granted with
An adoring chunk of glittering flesh
Casting somewhat else: the physical mesh.

On either path, paved with skill or luck
The brain's envisioned as cloud, thick&dark
Feared as an alien, the fairy-tale beast
Maintaining body balance with inner peace.

Though the reality brings up diverse yields
With tools disclosing dazzling mind fields
Colored with a whiff, vision, or the sound
Embroiled by keen labor - the thought bound!

I'll donate my brain to science And with It I'll tuck-in this note: Just hook me to any appliance.. You'll no-longer need a remote.

Verily, a good depiction of a poet's endeavor and endurance and prosperity.....10
