Born To Be A Poet Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Born To Be A Poet

Dancing from one rhyming ode to another
With phenomenal brain, nothing can stop her.
It is rather inviting, keeping readers alert.
She is here, she is there...grasshopper expert.

Describing the beautiful floral colours
Golds and crimsons, what could be sweeter?
Her world's so exciting with humour and mirth,
She is near, she is dear ~ of poetical worth.

Sonnets on love, that mystical wonder,
A kiss in the rain, or a wedding in summer.
Moonbeams that shine from heaven to earth.
How neat and discreet...a talent from birth.
