Bond With You Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Bond With You

I remember you
Each moment-
Awake or asleep
Floating towards you
Active or inactive.

You're a panacea
To all my ailments
Warmth of your aura
Remains with me-
Igniting to kindle
The rays of hope.

Spell of this life
Forming an itch
Itch of yourself
For all the times
Good or bad-
Miserable or fine
Nothing appears
Except memories
Memories of you.

My long-winged mind
As the gulls-
Like the waves
My body and thoughts
With sea-birds dance
In tune with-
The music of nature
In noble unity
And giant variety thereof.

Cure me of all the ills
When profoundly
Loaded with emotions
Dead or alive-
Of worldly affairs.

In dearth of a spiritual
Spiritual bond with you.
