1.
In a saucy wink
I fall deep down
Into the Ocean
Ocean of knowledge
I find many a great
The greatest ever
Great persons
Of their times
Far-flung from
The centuries
And centuries
Creating
And causing
Books and books
Paving footprints
For the coming
Generations
To sail free into
That great Ocean
Once they h’d been
Diving
Fishing the pearls
Invaluable treasure
Of great inheritance
Tastes like nectar
No pelf or wealth
Of the world
Can ever quench
Such a thirst
Of the soul
That the books
Satiate as a true
Companion
Wonderful guide
And a mentor.

2.
Really imperfect
The life is
That lacks them
Indeed
Dull and dreary
Dry and gloomy
Socially-
I when feel
Dejected
Or otherwise
It’s their love
Unto me
With soothing
Impact
That I feel
Composed as if
For me to suck
Enjoy their realm
With a warmth of
Newly wedded
Bride
And love of brood
The ennui or glum
All they purge.

3.
Well!
I hear the call
As they make
Kill not time
Why not just?
Embrace
In thy hands
Delay it not
Let’s make
A give and take
Of a kiss so fine
O’ dearest man
So as to produce
A generation
Beautiful and fine.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Well!
I hear the call
from the books
As they make
Kill not time
Why not just?
Embrace
In thy hands
Delay it not
Let’s make
A give and take
Of a kiss so fine
O’ dearest man
So as to produce
A generation
Beautiful and fine.
