Bob Dylan Poem by Lee Crowell

Bob Dylan

Rating: 4.5

when I listen to him I feel good
because I know there's more to music
than top twenty, american idol
and lyrics that leave us starving for thought

'Dear landlord
please don't put a price on my soul
my burden is heavy
my dreams are beyond control ' by Bob Dylan

There is more to music than Top Twenty and American Idol. But, it isn't Bob Dylan. GW62

Bob Dylan (whom I only heard of when I was 23!) is certainly a wonderful poet...

Bob came here (locally) recently, and I heard from friends that his voice has not stood the test of time, even though his passion and words have. I enjoyed your words. I breathe music and am drawn to words about music.
