Boat Lost In Tempest Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Boat Lost In Tempest

Boat lost in a tempest
My Soul!
My Inner Soul!

Around the waters
Wedge
Around
The sea wraiths shriek!

A boat lost in a
Tempest lost!
Around
The sea wraiths shriek!

The sea-wolves howl
The sea-rocks creak
The yards, the mast
The deck!

To move
You have to creep
The violence and
The sounds! 5

Lightning, sparks,
Of thunder
Roars
A lion growling
On all fours!
