Blue Poem by Angel Smith

Blue

Rating: 5.0

Roses grow redder
Her eyes violent blue
As they tear apart the nothing
That meant everything to you

All small talk aside
I'm so sorry it hurts
You're not acknowledging that
I don't know what's worse

Then the colors shuffle
Like they are breaking their dance
But all of these patterns
Where picked in advanced

These roses are red
The sky violent blue
The light caused light
To reflect off of you

The rain bounced off your cheeks
The moon glowed in your eyes
Now the colors are torn
Speak no witness, bear no lies

Then the colors shift
Like they are breaking their dancers
And you drew blue hearts on your hand
Something about them made you feel better

These roses are red
My lips, cold and blue now
Shivering in the snow
But where are you now?
