Blood Freezes Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Blood Freezes

When the blood freezes
Many times it's winter
And hoar begins.

The relatively leaf-less
Trees still whisper
In the nights.

When the winds blow
Their whispers louder
Grow
For they lie hidden still.
