Blonde Moment Poem by Linda Ori

Blonde Moment

Rating: 5.0

They call it a blonde moment -
A glitch of intelligent thought
I knew what I thought I was thinking
But before I could think, I forgot;
It has something to do with the wiring
It's tangled, and tends to short out,
Somewhere in the process of thinking
I forget what I'm thinking about;
Tomorrow I may go out shopping
And buy a new color to try
So when I don't get what you're saying
You'll think that I do, but I lie;
I'll make a big change on the outside
So people will give me a nod
I'll still be a blonde on the inside
But no one will know it - thank God!

This is funny! Hilarious! Like you, I think I am going to change my color. With all the goofs that I do, I'm changing my color to blonde! Very good, Linda! A ten.

Uproaressly funny. Such a wonderful flow and witty ease here Linda. This amazing write betrays the blonde who the poem so perfectly describes. Surely not written during a blonde moment. Love it!

Haha...I really enjoyed that. But even though you have blonde moments, you have moments of great creativity (as seen in this well written poem) . Great poem...well thought out and well executed. Top marks! -Michael
