Blonde Haired Blue Eyed Boy Poem by Cassandra Hooper

Blonde Haired Blue Eyed Boy

Too much pain
I wish I couldn't feel
It's hard to believe
All this is real
That you aren't alive
And I won't see you anymore
Ever since the day
They closed the funeral home's doors
I miss your smile
Your long blonde hair
The way you died
Just wasn't fair
So here we go again
The tears are coming back
Blending with mascara
They're all turning black
Your memory remains
Just as it always will
I remember you for your life
Not how you're laying still
