Blinded By A Mask Poem by Indesemus Rufiah

Blinded By A Mask

Look at her, what do you see?
Look into her eyes, Can you see what's
on her mind?
Talk to her, what can you say?

I look at her, I just see her,
I look at her eyes, I don't know
What's on her mind,
I talk to her, I can say nothing..

Again,
Look at her, what do you see now?
Look at her eyes, can you see
what's inside now?
Talk to her, Can you say something now?

I look at her, she's smiling at me,
I look at her eyes, I just saw
my reflections..
I talk to her, but i found myself
looking back at her eyes..

For the third time...
I look at her, she's looking back at me,
I look back at her eyes, I think I can see
what's inside it..
I talk to her, but tears fall from her eyes,
As if she's hiding it for a long time...

Finally, the mask has been removed,
Her secret has been revealed,
Now I know who she is..
Now I know how blind I am for not seeing
that mask, covering her entity...
