Little Sisters of The Poor
a congregation of sweet angels;
they surrender to the call;
women of great faith
in love with God,
following in His way
and where His feet hath trod.
We speak their names
with so much pride.
Humble women ~ special women
caring and cherishing
so much love comes from within.
They help the elderly and more,
collecting money door to door,
keeping old folk secure and safe
in the name of Faith.
Jeanne Jugan from Brittany land
Founder of this Christian Group
gave her beautiful heart and soul
to take the role of Superior,
Leader of the International
Little Sisters of the Poor...
She died in 1879, and we'll speak
her name with love and pride
evermore.
