Blessed Blizzard Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

Blessed Blizzard

Rating: 5.0

a spirit bursts out of the blue
sings a nostalgic rhyme of winter
about memory in glorious hue
it ascends and never comes back, never

O pour me with silvery snowing!
let’s dive to innocent white icebergs
early morning's breeze is so inspiring
O love, fill our days with your sparkles

stay with me
O baby, stay with me
thank you, my baby
for loving me

(dedicated to a great poet at poemhunter, Jasmin Whyte)
