Blessed Among Women Poem by Marlene Rashidi

Blessed Among Women

Kings and Princes ask for my hand in marriage,
Gold and Silver is thrown on me everyday,
My beauty is the key to success,
Farmer's grapes are the reason why wine is my daily liquid,
I'm high respected, honored, and praised,
Jealousy among my fellow women grows high every other day,
And that's the reason why my pride keeps growing,
I'm blessed through my voice,
That rings through a crystal clear window,
Old, young, poor, rich men are carried away,
I'm a lady with high self-esteem,
I play each part of my move silently,
I'm the center of attention,
The high class and fancy lady,
Through my name I'm well described,
I might be young, but not dumb.
