Bleeding It Out Poem by Ina Davila

Bleeding It Out

though his tears flow gently down his cheeks.
hes finally happy.
he never knew how to love.
he was hurt so badly.
now hes all alone.
but the blood running off of his wrists make him happy.
for some odd reason they make him smile.
the searing pain makes him forget his heartbreak.
now hes fading away.
hes forgetting all about the one that ripped his still beating heart from his chest.
he has a new dream.
and that dream is to fade.
