Blame-Game Poem by Raihan sharif

Blame-Game

Rating: 5.0

I will just see how things go on
And how they do take part in life.
I dare say I take life as it comes to me
Why blame me when sky is not cloudy?
Why blame me when they are in party?

I simply want to see some mist in the mirror
Not knowing how to be happy when lights are off
Not knowing how to look lively when
Lights are on and still on
Feeling like a fugitive-

Like an old fool who has seen a hell of life
Learning some helpless tricks of an old show –girl
Underselling greenness in a smoky city
Where a monster needs someone intact daily,
And all have to walk along in groups or one by one-

Too easy to howl,
Too tough to look into the
Eyes of someone sipping a cup of tea!
