Black And Blue



I'm black and blue
it hurts to move

He cries and says he’s sorry
he begs me not to leave

It’ll never happen again he promises
he loves me he says, till death do us part

I'm black and blue
but I feel no pain
I'm cold and numb
for today he beat the life right out of me.
