Black 2 - Black Is Truly Beautiful
Black is truly
Beautiful, very beautiful!
Bravely absorbing unto itself all colours,
Beamingly assimilating all its splashing hues,
Blues and violets caressed and nurtured into blessedness,
Bright reds and yellows mellowed down to egolessness,
Browns and greys into protective harmlessness,
Bellows of green spreading into healthy benevolence,
Bowing down in humility with humbleness,
Balmy black soothing all wounds to painlessness,
Basking in the warmth and light of blissfulness,
Bending down to reach out to the eternal godliness!
Black is truly

A Sonnet
A rainbow, umbrella shaped, absorbing all the hues manifested in the nature and representing different spiritual/philosophical shades must be the manifestation of beauty itself.

(2) Here you have created a world of multiple hues and colours but where black has an indispensable role to play. My second visit to this page has unfolded new permutations to think over, thus is more rewarding.

Bravely absorbing unto itself all colours.... //..... Dear Geeta ji, This is so absorbing. The journey of colour from one end of the spectrum to the other. This kind of observation or study has remained a painter's forte.
The poem radiates and is a celebration of the assimilating nature of a truly black colour which has a great beauty of its own (like that of a Sufi's covering) . So much so that it leads us to a state of blissfulness and to eternal godliness. To me it presents a beautiful philosophical thought.
