Bittersweet Lullaby Poem by Caitlin Taylor

Bittersweet Lullaby

Whipping winds soften to caress delicate lace curtains,
intertwine in a beautiful waltz.
Thunder and Lighting that cuts through the dead silent night,
like a seraded blade;
Terrifyingly beautiful.
Rain drops, new born babes,
tip-toe across my window sill
then vanish into glistening bliss.
Willows so sophisticated, sway and sashay
to this beautiful melody.
My bittersweet lullaby
