promise me paradise
only to abandon me in mid-fight?

How could you
catch my bleeding heart
only to hang in bare sight?

How could you
charm me
only to poison me in the end?

How could you
make me smile
only to force me to hide?

How could you
look into my eyes
and not see ' I Love You'?

How could you
embrace me
and not feel me tremble?

How could you
kiss me
and not taste the tears?

How could you
laugh
when i could barely open my eyes?

How could you
walk away
when i could barely stand?

How could you
say goodbye
when we barely said hello?
