Birth Poem by mohammad ahmadizadeh

Birth

Rating: 3.5

I was born unwillingly in a dark night
If you hear about it you will be surprised

I was terrified of going out of ward
My mother of giving birth to me hard

I kicked her from the inside mulishly
She wailed with labor pain so loudly

One man held my legs from outside
But my hands held womb's wall inside

Nurse stood out for taking me out
I hung on to stay in my hideout

She was confused about my action
Maybe thought I held in derision

'I don't like to go out' I said hot
But she didn't give up her thrust

I fear of living in this cruel world as nest
Womb is the best place for me to rest

If I go out of my secure shelter
It means a fool goes to the welter
