Birdbrain
Barely dawn, and I am
Awakened by a bird song.
But what does a bird
Have to sing about?
Do they know how God
Protects and provides
For them each day?
He has gifted and
Beautified them.
They are favored
In a big way.
The bird is smart to start
Its day with a song.
Even smarter than the human
That mopes along,
Who's day is often
Filled with complaints.
We can learn a few things
From the bird.
