Bird Talk Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Bird Talk

Forty words:

Sing little nightingale at my behest
Make the evening more appealing
Invite your friends to come and rest
On grass and leaves you love the best.
How sweet the woodland in April and May
When nightingale birdsong is on display.
