Beyond Possible Comprehension Poem by Dominic George

Beyond Possible Comprehension

Today i plucked a petal rosy
One that was rolled and written
'How can I give you up? ... My heart recoils within Me;
My compassion grows warm and tender'
Oh, how delighted is my soul
To receive such love letter!

O Bread of Life, Word Incarnate
In spite of my lowliness
And lack of intelligence
Thou kept me in Thy prospect
Nurturing, teaching, exposing the truth
If only i could in hue
I wish to tell i love You!

But with outrages history in the past
And many transgression at present
I fear to guarantee future self blossoms
Great Light please reign in my bosoms!

I must admit i don't understand Thee
Even angels awe in Thy mystery
O gentle Love most Incomprehensible
Make my love to Thee more stable
Thus i hope in Mary, Thy heavenly Mother
For without, i'll be a wretched wanderer

Teach my spirit the methods of the saints
Because my feeble faith always faint!
Please grant me more strength
And spare me from eternal death
