Beyond My Soul Poem by John Siregar

Beyond My Soul

To touch the beauty of the Lord
Far beyond my rich and soul
My lonely soul
Here I'm Lord! Hear me!
I'm only a dump
I am on my way of loving You
I'm not there yet

To touch the beauty of the Lord
I never know how, so lead me Lord
So lend me your hand my Thee

My soul is never there to hurt You
Never my intention
But I always do, forgive me

Though I'm unworthy of You,
only a scratch, a tiny dot of dust
Take me Lord
I'm alone

The beauty of the Lord is never gone
I say to my soul, never gone
