Beware Of The Crocodile Poem by Paul Sebastian

Beware Of The Crocodile

Beware, in still water, of the crocodile!
Trust him not, for he'll surely lie
You need only look at his eyes
His looks will tell you, he's full of lies!

She sang:
Who's afraid of the crocodile, crocodile?
I'm not afraid of the crocodile, crocodile!
Tra la la la la!

‘You don't understand, he is so tame
He's kind and generous, always the same!
He's offered me a ride down the Nile
"Worth-the-while ride, " he said, winking his eye
I jumped on him, happily wearing a smile'

A quiet ride down the Nile
She had gone down, a full mile
Time slipped and it was nigh
Stars were out in the sky
But where's young Miss Wild?
Her ride ended, she's gone inside
The crocodile winked and smiled.

Beware of the crocodile!
He can take you for a ride
Leave you high and dry
Be wary of his deceptions
His heart bears evil intentions.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Beautiful poem.. with a moral! We have to ward ourselves off all deceptive tricks of crocodile like men! I am so sure the children will enjoy this when sung in chorus! Even elders will enjoy it! !
