Between your heart and mine
Is a love growing stronger
And only time will tell
If it lasts much longer

Between your heart and mine
Is loves golden thread
Keeping us bound for eternity
No matter what might be said

Between your heart and mine
Is a love that can not be bought or sold
For it all belongs between us
And pray it never grows cold

Between your heart and mine
Is much more than blood and veins
Bonding us much closer together
Like the boxcars are bound to the train

Between your heart and mine
Is this love staying so true
For it was put there by God
To hold us together, me and you
