Beneath The Trees Poem by norman hale

Beneath The Trees

Rating: 4.5

I sat beneath the trees
And watch the wind blow by
To escape from family drama
And away from others lies

Watching those squirrels jump
From limb to limb
Like little acrobats
When the sun was hardly dim

I listened to the birds
That was singing their song
And it sound like Angels
were singing a long

The wind was blowing
As the trees swung to and fro
Dancing with the music
as the nature put on a show

I sit and watch nature
My mind wanders with awe
Just to sit and think
That God controls it all
