Between The Ruins Poem by Leila CANKAYA

Between The Ruins

I am wandering between the ruins
Unstable winds stop and blow again.
Screaming above my head a crow,
Is it calling my disaster or warns me?
It can not talk that, how can I know?
I am wandering between the ruins
It blow outside, undecided winds.

The street is singing its own song
in a mess,
Trash cans full.
How much eats human even if
Though hungry soul.
Where, did I first start the journey?
How many days, how many months,
Maybe year.
Anymore I don't know
I don't know anymore,
Where's paradise, where is hell
