Between Silences Poem by Krazy Rae

Between Silences

There's been another mistake,
to which we cannot agree.
Your silence fills the room like
a fog fills the streets
of an abandoned town
and my silence fills
the room like guest to
a party hall; but,
between those silences
in an understood love
I know you love me and
you know I love you s o
let's break the silence
and talk about how we
feel about compromise
