Betrayed

I have betrayed you.
I'm sorry.
Even with your stated goodbyes its not enough to keep me from darkness, with every longing word I hear my eyes blacken at the thought of you, of us, what we could have been, what we are, and what I am.

I'm sorry, I didn’t mean to be the monster I am, I didn’t want this, I never chose this, I was chosen, and I'm sorry,
I'm sorry I hurt you,
I'm sorry I lied,
I'm sorry I broke you and I.
