Beside Me Where You Should Be Poem by michelle sheppard

Beside Me Where You Should Be

stop with suicide
start with love
stop all the dying
end all the crying
im tired of hearing that
im tired of hearing this
i want all of you to stop death-wishing
so my mind will be empty of stress
the anxiety gets worse
the worry is more
for you say in life
we all ignore
when im still here
i'll listen my dear
your'e never alone
for with my heart you always have a home
so whipe your tears
forget your fears
baby im here
dont worry my dear
walk out of the darkness
and into the light
dont be another fallen angel
in my eyes it wont be right
so if no other purpose
live for me
for what i can see
thats enough to be
alive
enough to desire life inside
for im the hero
of the self-righteous suicide epidemic
im trying to change this world in a blink of an eye
im trying to make life something you would pick
be patient my love
i dont wana see you above
but beside me
is where you should be
not on suicidal lane
not going insane
just rite here with me
is where u should be
