Belt Of Duality Poem by Daipayan Nair

Belt Of Duality

Rating: 5.0

I don't call upon men
eager to surrender in the folding
of my collar

and women,
eager to commit blunders
in the closing
of my button.

Why do they act sane
when I am eager at my belt
They can just think of it
as holding tightly a love

and releasing it free at times
in one's own land

though it has other common uses
like tying of hands,
choking for pleasure,
whipping a lifelong scar.

Witty philosophical piece of poetry well articulated and nicely penned with conviction. A well crafted poem. Thanks for sharing.
