Believe Me Poem by Dr Shamim ali

Believe Me

If I were a water course
Believe me that I would
Always be there
I’d carve a path for you through all obstacles
If I were a flower
Believe me that I would
Always be there
I’d form a garland around your neck
If I were a star
Believe me that I would
Always be there
I’d become luminous for you
Whenever you wanted to make a wish
If I were a breeze
Believe me that I would
Always be there
I'd turn away from you
Blow through your hair, rake over leaves for you
If I were a leaf
Believe me that I would
Always be there
I'd turn into yellow, orange and green
Blow through the air
Toss in the breeze
Would bestow pleasure and please
If I were a shadow
Believe me that I would
Always be there
I’d run with you, when you run
And be blissful when you are happy
Stay close to you

I’d make you believe
Loneliness doesn’t exist!
