Believe Poem by Rhonda Moody

Believe

Rating: 5.0

The 2ond poem I wrote for Morgan
Her parents were non-believers
throughout Morgan's illness many of her
family members recieved Christ.

As a mother and father sit quietly
At their little girls bedside
They are hoping and praying
God will keep her alive

This gift from God
Is just three years old
Her mother and father
Are not ready to let go

Letters of encouragement
and prayers Come in
They read them all
From strangers, family, and friends

People pull together in time of need
For a little girl so precious
Not ready to leave

Doctors give Morgan a one percent chance
But her outcome now
is out of their hands

God listens as her parents
cry out in prayer
Spare our little girl
Let us keep our darling child

As their faith in the lord starts to grow
They get a feeling inside they have never known
They feel him now the Lord above
He's dwelling inside them they feel his love

As prayers are prayed
Their faith it grows
Their child is in God's hands
And this they now know

Their prayers were answered
A miracle you see
The cancer was gone
Their child set free

Life was so good
So happy again
Just knowing little Morgan
Will be coming home with them

In the blink of an eye
It's back again
The devil himself
The cancer within

The past several months
Have taken a toll
Their child now sicker
Than ever before

What awaits little Morgan
God only knows
But our Faith in him
Gives us courage and hope

We know Dear Father
In Heaven above
You have a plan for our child
One that's filled with your love

We ask of you now
Take her pain away
And be with her Lord
Both night and day

As she fights the devil
She is not alone
For with you by her side
This battle can be won

Anything is possible
This we now see
Thank you Dear Jesus
Whatever the outcome may be

Another miracle perhaps
we will wait and see
Because in you Lord
We now Believe
