Beings Inside The Telly Poem by Philomena May

Beings Inside The Telly

Rating: 4.0

We live in a filmic reality,
Untouched by physicality.
A virtual existence in a simulated environment,

You live in bodily actuality
Untouched by virtuality
A corporeal existence in a natural environment.

You watch us through the square window,
Believing you control the machine.
But, we too are observers,
Residing in the box in the corner,
Waiting to flex our televisual muscles.
Our signal is strong.
Unknowingly, you tune in to our truth.
