Beginner's Love Fades Away Poem by Jessica Spraggins

Beginner's Love Fades Away

Seeing each other on the streets
and talking on the phone
being together in the midst of right
and holding to each other in the midst of wrong
Loving each other the exact way
a man and a woman should
I call it a beginners love
for it is always good.

Experiencing and holding on to
the dear memories of love
knowing he is the one for you
because you feel he's from above
Your hearts dance at the same beat
and your souls speak at the same tone
you love each other inspite of-
the rights or the wrongs

No matter how hard you try to keep those feelings
I have learned one thing this day
No matter how bad you want it to stay
A beginners love fades away.
