Before You Go Poem by Varna Soyokaze

Before You Go

Before you go,
Leave behind your trail,
To look back when worlds split,
Your notes scattered in Braille.
When on the verge and slain
Hopes are scattered and mind shattered
Shush me again.

Before you go
In the Valley of Snowfall,
Let us bathe in the golden glory
Till dusk bleeds into nightfall
Play me another album of Lullaby.
Rest for a little while
Under the Starlit Sky

Before you go
Argue over random things
Make me mad again and
Whisper me tales of wings and kings.
Hold my hand under the rain,
Wander into the hills,
Whistling in vain

Before you go,
Bury me deep into your dreams
Under the same sky, same moments
But different worlds and themes.
When the petals come dancing by
Let me rewind into memories
And Relive them as I lie.
