Before Love. Poem by Danie Babcock

Before Love.

Rating: 5.0

Today i am dead,
Tomorrow I'm alive,
Days seem to darken,
No help to survive,
The sun falls at last,
As moon shines so bright.
stars lit up in the horizon,
my weakness has sight.
broken hearts cover the valley,
screams and cry's only heard.
for past lovers and suicidal scars,
never to be cured.
The night reaches its darkest,
Suddenly heart beats begins to dim.
Tiny spots of red fade away,
only seen off a rim.
my head spins in circles,
reaching out but nothing to grab,
a feeling over comes me.
ignoring a light painful stab.
someone grabs my heart from in me,
watching it in they're hands,
beats begin to suddenly show.
it likes where it has land.
I guess, you know the truth now,
i loved you since day one.
now im gone forever,
but my love is never done.
Even though i'll never be here again,
in my dreams you will always be,
i give you my heart now and forever,
because it will never be happy with me.

Oh my gosh this poem made my cry. Its so sad and yet so stunning. The way you rhyme it is beautiful and unique, and it flows all the way through, which I find very hard to do.
