Before I Met Her Poem by Archana Prabahar

Before I Met Her

Before I met her
Beauty had no meaning
In the life
Like a blind man
Walking in the street
I wandered this world!

Before I met her
Moon was something
That comes in the night
To darken the sunlight!
Now that I see her
Smile glowing in the moon!

Before I met her
Breeze was something
That blows when i walk!
Now that I see her
Soft touch in the breeze!

Before I met her
Rose plant was thorny
Showing colors on the top!
Now that I feel her
Love in the rose!

Before I met her
Pearl was a crystal from Mollusk
To sell as a gemstone!
Now that I feel her
Shiny teeth in it!

Before I met her
I hate the rainy days
As rain makes the city flood!
Now that I feel her
Dancing far as an angel in rain!

Before I met her
Snow flakes rotten
My home with white snow!
Now that I remember her
Wedding frock of snow white color!

Now that I met her
Holding her hands
On this holiday evening
Opening the wrapped gift
That God has kept aside
Before I met her!
