POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Thanks to the grace of God, the wayward son returns home, the father, full of joy, welcomes him home. This story reminds us we are accepted by God because of His grace, not because of our merits. May we ever be full of thanks to God and to the people who accept, forgive, and show us mercy.
